New York City Schools have recently banned ChatGPT, due to its ability to teach classes accurately. In terms of knowledge, it has the ability to preform and improve, causing concern for educators, who have had to quickly adapt and revise their teaching and testing strategies in order to compete with ChatGPT’s ability to execute student work with a master’s level of education. Doctoral students seeking a way to short-cut their way to a thesis are likely out of luck, as AI is still unable to independently create an entire thesis on an area that is not often studied.

AI has already had a major impact on trading activities. Quant models, based on imitating human trading practices, now enable firms to optimize their returns more quickly. Nevertheless, it is unlikely that key economic and financial judgments will be left solely to computers – even if they are based on a comprehensive set of data.

In just a couple of years, hand-coding websites and other pieces of software will be rendered virtually obsolete due to the emergence of artificial intelligence technology. ChatGPT enables people to generate tailor-made websites and other applications based on their requests, eliminating the need for many professionals who are used to coding relatively simple software. By 2026, the days of website designers and engineers completing comparatively simple coding jobs will be long gone.
