Igniting the night sky, the Galactica Super Nova by Heesen Yachts is the power house of the sea for her prodigious stature, cutting edge engineering, impeccable performance and transit speed. Utilizing Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF), a technology conceived by Van Oossanen Naval Architects, in collaboration with in house- specialists, Heesen has been revolutionary for the first in the industry to place in production.

The propulsion system consists of two MTU wing engines with fixed pitch propellers and a third central engine with Rolls Royce booster water jet, providing acceleration from 0 to 30 knots in 75 seconds. With 15,000 horsepower (hp), and 70m, not only is she notorious for being one of the elite 200 largest yachts in the world, the Galactica Super Nova is the most supercharged in high-efficiency.

Receiving accolades for “Best Exterior Design” and “Best Boat” at the ‘2016 Monaco Yacht Show, world class exterior designer and naval architect Espen Øino introduced new design elements exemplifying her beautiful lines, while the interiors of Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design created extravagant living with sumptuous tastes.

Throughout six staterooms, twelve guests are accommodated with the master suite on the main deck, four guests cabins on the lower deck and a VIP ensuite on the wheel house deck aft. In the owner’s suite, both the bedroom and bathroom have floor to ceiling onyx panels that extend across the full beam of the yacht.

An equilibrium between monochromatic and soft palettes, texture and use of space provide an understated elegance. Aesthetically profound with discerning sensibilities, a wide range of leathers, steel, nickel, chrome and sublime woods in wenge, african hardwoods and teak flow harmoniously in an architectural helix.

The standout feature in the interior is the central staircase with a crystal elevator. A hallmark of Heesen yachts is the bespoke details and elaborate installations embedded into the walls, stairs treads, ceiling and floors.

Tender and toys (including a quad ski) are housed in the garage located in the forward part of the hull. Other key features include a 13.500 litres pool on the main deck aft with contra flow system for swimming, a waterfall and integrated Jacuzzi for relaxing, while the glass bottom of the pool allows natural light to filter into the beach club below. At night, LED lighting creates an atmosphere for entertaining. Forward on the main deck, a touch-and-go helipad facilitates guests arrival on board and doubles as an outdoor 20 X 20 ft cinema with surround sound that makes you feel like you’re in your own personal I-MAX drive-in movie theater.

The beach club is equipped with bar and lounge space that has two-fold down swim platforms. In the evening, an iPad transforms the beach area into a night club with LED light clusters configured to interact with music for a multi-sensory experience and can be adjusted for a romantic evening for two.

A spacious equipped galley provides the chef everything he needs to create a five star dining experience.
