Sources have informed On The Inside that, after an emergency mediation meeting held on Thursday, January 26, 2023, Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes were told that they both are finished at ABC. The two anchors will reportedly receive payouts in accordance with the terms of their contracts.
We were told that the meeting between Amy and T.J. and the ABC representatives was quite heated, with them both getting accused of breaching company rules. In particular, ABC alleged that Amy had alcohol in her dressing room, which is against company policy.
When the relationship between T.J. and Amy became public, the network initially stated that no rules had been broken as the couple were seen to be on an even footing within the show. However, this understanding was dramatically changed on December 2, 2022, when both were removed from air to assess if they had flouted regulations – or used corporate resources to conceal their relationship.
